Railey is the rock climbing capital of Thailand, many people who've
never considered trying it before end up learning the ropes on one
of the beginners walls here.
Over 150 routes have developed since the late 1980's when Krabi
first witnessed the sight of people scaling it's craggy mountains.
Routes include high quality limestone, steep, pocketed walls, overhangs
and hanging stalactites, with some accessed by boat belay, others
involving jungle walk approaches or abseils into the sea. (More)

It's estimated that there are around 200 islands around the Krabi
coastline, many are small rocky outcrops that literally rise out
of the sea and have no landing access.
Others are larger and uninhabited, with characteristic tiny white

one course of it's own.
